National's "Yuva Raksha" is a group Insurance scheme, which offers protection for students of Junior &
Senior Colleges providing 24 hours coverage for 12 months worldwide (Premium Rs. 50/- for coverage of Rs. 1,00,000/-)

This insurance provides a benefit amount up to Rs. 1,00,000/- as insured in the event of the insured person sustaining bodily injuries resulting solely & Directly from accident caused by EXTERNAL, VIOLENT, VISIBLE, means Resulting in death or disablement, within 12 (twelve) months of its occurrence & 100% reimbursement of medical treatment expenses up to the limit of Rs. 1,00,000/- whichever is less. An accident may include events like:

• Rail/Road /Air Accident
• Injury due to any Violent Collusion / Fall
• Injury due to Fire, Explosion, Acts of God
• Snakebite, Frostbite
• Burn Injury, Drowning and Poisoning excluding suicide

These are only illustrative and not an exhaustive list of types of accidents.

Scope of Cover
If at any time during the currency of the policy the Insured sustains an accident resulting in bodily injury as shown below than the company agrees to pay to the Insured or to the assignee, as the case may be, the following sums, subject of course to certain conditions, exclusions laid down in the policy.

The cover is WORLDWIDE. However claim will be paid in Indian Currency only.

1. Please preserve the copy of Fee Payment Receipt issued by the college authorities.
2. Discharge of college's authorized representative / Principal would be sufficient.
 
Claim Procedure
1. Immediate accident, claim, intimation to college along with copy of the Fee receipt together with the claim form, duly filled in with relevant enclosures.
2. Immediate medical claim intimation to college along with copy of the Fee receipt together with the claim form duly filled in with relevant enclosures.
